Daddy Daughter reading club

So let me start by saying that I read this book because I was video chatting with my teenage daughter one night (I'm currently deployed) and I asked her what she was currently reading. Her excitement over this book made me go on Amazon and immediately buy it so we could read it together and discuss during our video chats.
It is a Young Adult novel, but it is highly entertaining. The story centers on a young boy named "Art" who appears suddenly in an art gallery with no recollection of how he got there or who he was. Unable to tell the authorities anything about himself, and with no missing children reports to go on, the police place Art with and foster family until they can locate his.
The foster mother decides to take Art, along with her ten year old daughter, to the art gallery he was found at, with the hopes of triggering some memories.
While this doesn't pan out, we soon learn that Art is at the center of some intrigue and his being hunted down by spies or criminals. He doesn't really know which they are.
Without going further and ruining the story I will say that this was a very enjoyable read. However the coolest part of the book is the QR codes embedded throughout. You can download a QR reader on your smartphone and when the author is talking about a particular painting, scan the QR code and you get to view the artwork for yourself. A great marrying of traditional books with modern technology!
