Things get messy in their mission, as one of their own is taken. The vampires have plans of their own.
Our heroes’ mission becomes a search and rescue, until they find she no longer wishes to be rescued, but to bring forth the oldest evil there is, the father to the spreading masses of vampires.
Stephen Knight is another of my favorite horror authors. His imagination just runs wild, yet everything makes total sense.
