The Mouse That Roared
A classic but enjoyable from start to finish. It's the story of the Duchy of Grand Fenwick, desperate for aid after their chief export is copied, they plan an invasion of the United States and a swift defeat, knowing that the US rebuilds countries it conquers. There's one problem, the Duchy wins the war. They arrive in NY during a massive air raid drill with the streets empty and manage to capture by accident the Q-Bomb, a planet destroyer. What follows is a classic comedy that sees the underdog take on the colossus and win. The novel is a very fast read and anyone that picks it up will most likely find themselves reading it again and again.
